Getting your own small business is fantastic! There are lots of benefits and rewards to running your own business including determining your schedule, doing what you love, maybe working at home, etc. But just having a passion to own your own business isnt enough to ensure success. Before beginning consider the following seven points, and then proceed with wild abandon!

1) If you can, still work another job in readiness your own dynasty. Having an extra cash at the outset of your new happy path will allow you the freedom of not stressing within the ticking clock and potentially dwindling resources. If money isnt a problem, hey, do it now just like a man/woman burning.
2) Get the concentrate on. Your own business plan is nice, because it provides you with a path; however staying focused may be the numero uno dependence on dealing with in which you want to go. If investing a lot of time into a business plan can help you process, do it now! If investing a ton of time right into a strategic business plan is more of a distraction perform a different kind of strategic plan. If youre a start up business a business plans projections are pure fiction, so create and implement a plan that will help you stay focused and forget what you feel you need to create.
3) Like staying focused, do not buy a lot of items that will just distract you. Same goes for office space. Until you know your specifics and have a focused timeline limit the distractions.

4) Know yourself...I am talking honest assessment. None of us are perfect what exactly were searching for here is to know ourselves good enough to work with and around what we should know may be self-imposed hurdles, etc.
5) Know your family/friends...If you have a vision as well as in your gut know you are well on your path stay on it. Family and friends have the propensity to err on the side of caution or sometimes criticism when it comes to something they arent acquainted with. Accept its from a place of love, or jealousy or wherever and dont let it deter you.
6) Find the like minded...Find those who think like you and are on the way or down the path you want to go. There is tremendous value in tapping into the experience of someone who is ahead of you. Believe me, they will be flattered you asked.
7) Take action...Proceed with action as opposed to just chatter. Its up to you to do something. Act by yourself behalf as it is going to be you who experiences the outcome. Dont expect others to hold you. This is your deal and your experience. That is not to say dont ask for help (see #6). Just dont overextend your stay when tapping into others.
Theres a ton of great ideas available. Many of them never pass Go and not collect their $200 though. So, most of all, remember all of the planning and talking, consulting and confabbing in the world wont enable you to get in which you want to go. Plan, after which act.
